Mallorca is served from early spring to late autumn daily and directly from Amsterdam by Transavia, easyJet, Vueling, Corendon and TUIfly, among others. The first now even flies year-round non-stop from regional NL airport Eindhoven, just like price breaker Ryanair by the way, which also operates year-round from DE. In the nearby West German border region, Eurowings, a Lufthansa subsidiary, Ryanair and the daily air shuttle of low-cost Norwegian offer very frequent and direct connections. Indirect (scheduled) services are provided throughout the year by KLM and Iberia, among others, also ideal as a combo trip with Barcelona or Madrid. Skyscanner' s (free) app gives a quick (price) overview.

Nice and slow but beautiful is a crossing to the island by ferry from Barcelona (4 or 8 hours), Valencia (8 hours) or Ibiza (2 hours) from Balearia or Trasmediterranea/Acciona. Find all routes to and from mainland Spain on Aferry.
